I'm Not Jesus is what originally peaked my interest, because I'm a big fan of Corey Taylor, but the music video that got posted a couple days ago got me hooked. Reps on recharge for Apocalyptica!

Tons of good stuff from the 90's, both the 'real' cd's Van halen did in the 90's were great: For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge and Balance (**** being the better of the 2) and once Hagar went solo Marching to Mars is one fo the most over-looked cd's from that time period-there are some awsome songs on that disk. Dehumanizer by black sabbath is just plain old awsome and no one really knows it exists, this disk see's Dio coming back and it's just great. I'm also a fan of No More Tears by Ozzy more for the guitar work than anything else. Those are some things that jump out right off the top of my head but there is a ton of gret stuff from the 90's. No oasis, nirvana, metallica or other stuffs like these? Why would you even list Oasis in a rock thread, I could not name ONE Oasis tune, they basically lamed their way into infamy, more for the brothers fighting than for any 'music', if you call it that, they made. Like Nirvana, a reason there where no musicians on the radio in the 90's, everyone liked some lackluster group that could not play their instruments, because of the 'if these guys could do it, as bad as they suck, so could I' mentality just MHO.

It's 167mb, so the quality should be good. If you dl torrents, check it out. Here's the blurb given by the guy who uploaded the file. Ok I can understand if the rest the world hasn't heard of southern legends such as Split Enz, Crowded House & Cold Chisel, but this is this possibly due to lack of communication check out this review from a American that moved to Australia:- 5 stars Aussie's best kept secret.you MUST get this CD!, April 6, 2000 By Michael J Harrington (Phoenix, Arizona USA) - See all my reviews I lived in Australia from 90-97, and had never heard of Chisel till I moved there. And what a pleasant shock it was when I found myself hearing this very CD (my first taste o'Chisel) and singing/stomping along on the first 'spin'. This band is the essence of Oz - raw power and emotion with simply great tunes to back them. Why this band never made it HUGE in the US is beyond me.but heck, forget that and get this CD for an unprecedented treat GREAT music (esp for parties).
Barnesy and Mossy are one of the best songwriting teams ever! I have since gone back and bought everything this band has done to make sure I didn't 'miss a beat'! Now check out this AMG review!!!
Reviewby Jonathan Lewis Cold Chisel started life as just another pub rock band, but it finished as one of Australia's all-time greatest acts. This disc provides the perfect retrospective of one of the seminal Australian acts of the early '80s. Cold Chisel was a band that was able to rock hard, but it also showed a deceptive depth and perceptiveness in their lyrics. They managed to record songs that covered not only a range of styles but a full range of emotions, from the bitter 'You Got Nothing I Want' to the tender 'Choir Girl.' They wrote tales of drunken excesses ('Cheap Wine') and resigned sadnesses ('Flame Trees'), and their superb ode to a returned Vietnam War veteran, 'Khe Sanh,' is a song that will forever epitomize this period of Australian music.
While the drug and alcohol excesses of Cold Chisel and their lead singer Jimmy Barnes are the stuff of legend, their music never suffered for it. These songs are classics, and to have them all collected here makes this disc nothing short of sublime. I've included scanned cover art, plus an AMG bio hey really check this out.this is one of the best rock bands from OZ from by Barking Barnes & lead guitars by Melting Moss but the real secret here is the lyric writer & keyboard player.go searching.it's worth your while.a true Wild Turkey fan thanks for seeding again Pirates!!! Cheers Gazza.

[b]ok I can understand if the rest the world hasn't heard of southern legends such as Split Enz, Crowded House & Cold Chisel, but this is this possibly due to lack of communication check out this review from a American that moved to Australia:- awesome, I will have a look when I get home. There first two albums Cold Chisel & East (four walls is my favourite) are IMO their best work, if you remember the movie working class man with Michael Keaton, they play a Cold Chisel song (actually a Jimmy Barnes song, i think) in there called Working class man, funnily enough;) Jimmy Barnes went onto some solo stuff with some of Australia's and the State's best singers. Ian Moss still does gigs and covers most of the Cold Chisel classics as he was the back up singer when Jimmy Barnes was 'unavailable' Khe Sahn is probably an unofficial national anthem, I doubt there would be anyone in this country into rock who doesn't know it. They do a live album called the last stand which isn't bad, but you need to check out there studio albums first. Splint Enz and Crowded house aren't bad either but they are not as hard as Cold Chisel. You should also try and find Jimmy Barne's greatest hits, he does some a song called 'The Weight' with another Aussie band which is sensational. Neurosis - Given to the Rising (2007, no password, 128K rip) ^ Note: I got an error when unpacking the rar but it works fine and quality is good. Neurosis are major pioneers and a highly influential sludge band, and by many, considered to be one of the first bands to play this sub-genre of hardcore and metal. Neurosis' latest album finds the group's sound transforming yet again so dramatically that even to diehard fans, Given To The Rising might seem starkly different, a stunning reintroduction.
Alcest - Souvenirs d?un Autre Monde (2007, 256K Rip, No password) Alcest is a musical project from Avignon, France. Beginning as a raw black metal act in 1999, Alcest later became a vessel for Neige's 'memories of another world' as the band evolved into his solo-project.
While Alcest still retains some black metal roots, the music now draws more comparison to other genres such as shoegaze and post-rock. Your retarded, you don't know **** about the band dude so why even reply when you don't know something for a fact, thats an orchestra in the link you posted you dumbass. They have one album out that I'm aware. Listened to many times after dling it from here weeks ago.
Why don't you give as the straight skinny on the band. Hey I know it's an orchestra. Just going by what it said 'with Level'. Lots of instances throughout rock history when bands have worked with orchestra's.
Didn't investigate, as I said and apologized for any mistake. Take your attitude, A**HOLE and shove it! F*CKYOU!! And you're still lame for the negs. They have one album out that I'm aware. Listened to many times after dling it from here weeks ago.

CLICK THE LINK TO DOWNLOAD This month’s issue of the UK's Official PlayStation Magazine has the exclusive review of FIFA 09, and the word on the terraces is that it's by far the best FIFA yet. The game gets a high-flying 9 out of 10 from OPM and much praised is heaped upon Be A Pro mode in particular.'
In terms of presentation, FIFA's always been streets ahead of archrival PES, and that's still the case here,' OPM notes in its review. 'Combine that with the emergence of the now-essential Be A Pro and the balance of power has definitely shifted.' Has FIFA really bested PES?
Well, we'll add our own opinion to the annual FIFA vs PES debate just as soon as we've had some proper hands-on time with both games. If you want to know what else OPM has to say about FIFA 09 in its exhaustive, all-angles covered review, get down the shops and pick up a copy of OPM23. It's on sale in the UK now. Go get it.surely its fifas year unless pro pulls out somethin spectacular i mean opm gave fifa 08 a 6/10 and that was harsh imo so this must really be amazin for them to give a 9.
