If you'd like a user flair reflecting that. So I haven't touched emulators in about a year because I've been busy, but last I remember, there was a pretty lengthy process of getting these two games to actually work without constant crashing/freezing/save issues. I eventually got it working, but the computer that I had them on no longer works. I was using either Desmume or NO$GBA, I tried using both, but forget which one ultimately ended up working. I was wondering if there's been any progress on getting more stable versions of these roms out, and if there isn't, is there a clear write-up somewhere of where to get the roms and the steps needed to make them fully functional?

I tried using the search function, but couldn't find a whole lot. Crimson Skies Windows 7 Download.

DesMune is probably the best emulator around. After discovering that No$GBA corrupts my save game i had to move to DeSmune and it worked on my PC perfectly after i decided to turn on my graphic cards for the emulation. But now i'm on vacations and i had to use my laptops, and even turning the graphic cards for running the game and putting the settings on the lowest possible, the emulation is slow. Here are my system info: Laptop 1: -AMD Brazos dual-core c-60. -Radeon graphics HD 6290. Laptop 2: -Pentium 4 dual core Inside. -Windows 7 32 bits.

So I haven't touched emulators in about a year because I've been busy, but last I remember, there was a pretty lengthy process of getting these.

Now my PC which i played the game: -Intel Pentium 4 ultimate edition. - ATI Radeon HD 4800 series. -Windows 32 bits. Should i get lost? I'm not sure if this is against the rules by posting this here, but, you should use NO$GBA instead - perhaps you set it up incorrectly. I have completed HeartGold with no crashes and some occasional graphics glitches but it it is 100% playable.

It didn't crash or force me to restart once. I *think* SoulSilver is pretty much the same. I tried Desmume but the emulation was too glitchy/laggy (probs my PC - not the actual emulator). Also my laptop is pretty much crap. It's a Dual Core 1.8Ghz which is around 3-4 years old now. This is what I did: 1) Dumped DS firmware/BIOS (you can find online too) 2) Put DS firmware files in the same directory as NO$GBA 3) Download NO$Zoomer as well, put in the same directory too 3) Dump/Find/Get the ROM somehow, make sure it's a CLEAN US/EU copy 4) Use Rudolph's patch (found somewhere on this forum or try google) and then encrypt the ROM with EndcryptDS (google).

5) Boot up from the NDS Bios each time you want to play the game. (NO$GBA options) 6) Don't use save states (duh) and make sure you save it from inside the game. Sounds pretty lengthy, but it's easy. It didn't lag at all, and I completed it without crashes - pretty much awesome. Add me on Skype (haslam22) if you need help running this game Of course it's a little bit silly of me for posting this here when you said you already tried NO$GBA but it can be really tricky to set up sometimes.
