Hi everyone.I'm getting a bit frusterated and wondered if any of you have encountered this issue?? I downloaded a game from.

Posted: 15 December The first game was nice, but this one left me somewhat disappointed. There were some nice puzzles, but a large portion of the game was doing the same thing over and over or trying to figure out where some random stuff happened, so that you can advance, which was very annoying.

In my opinion the addition of minigames is super lame and I feel the only reason those were added is so that they could be played on the iPhone. In general this is a mediocre game and you won't miss much if you don't play it.

Comment by error10 The island is Contested territory, though the immediate Faire grounds is a Sanctuary. The sanctuary area includes the Darkmoon Path leading from the north end of the island where you zone in from Elwynn Forest or Mulgore. (The point where you port in is marked as a vortex on the map.) Return portals to Elwynn Forest and Mulgore are located at the south end of the walk, at the end of the boardwalk; look for the Alliance and Horde banners. The arena near the south end of the island is a free-for-all PvP area. Comment by Bengarion For the Alliance, the faire entrance is in Goldshire, Elwynn Forest - 41.82, 68.43 - just behind the NPC Remy 'Two Times'.

The exit portal from Darkmoon Island is on the docks. There are two portals on the docks, similar to the pair found in Shattrath. ( 50.54, 90,46) Just follow the main path through the faire heading toward the docks. 'You can't miss it.' You are ported back to Goldshire - not the to the mage tower, Wizard's Sanctum, in Stormwind. Btw - The portal to Darkmoon Island is free.

A previous comment makes it sound like you're charged 10g for the port. Curious fact: The faire portals in Elwynn Forest and Mulgore are both useable by either faction. The return portals at the faire, though, are faction specific. Comment by Faizaria Some friends and I were running around here and noticed how creepy this place actually is. There's a vendor in the woods that offers up meat dishes from each major city. Ships wrecked all over the shores and in the water. The large eye at the entrance is very LoTR/Sauran/All Seeing Eye.

There are also faces on each of the tree trunks at the entrance which just happen to be shaped very tentacle like with teeth on them. A tree with captives hung in cages, long dead of course. A knife sticking out of the tree. The banner near Gargantua features a gorilla maiming a unicorn. In the mountain area the ground is very eerie and red as if covered in blood. There are what look to be remains of buildings as well.

Along the path down there are flashing eyes looking out at you among the tree roots. If you die you can talk to 7 ghosts that have pats around the island, they will tell you various creepy stories about their lives and the faire. When you're alive these pats look like sparkling wispy trails along the ground. Look up into the trees and occasionally great flocks of what look to be undead bats will fly around and go straight through the trees.

Comment by qaccy If you're online, it's possible to remain on the Faire grounds even after the Faire 'closes' at 11:59 PM (server time) on Saturday night. All of the NPCs remain, and the daily quests for the games will also reset as normal. The Darkmoon Deathmatch prize chest will not spawn if the Faire is not active, however. When you log out, you'll be forcibly ejected to Mulgore/Elwynn Forest the next time you log in.

EDIT: All NPCs on the island now despawn when the Faire closes. With the exception of fishing, there is no longer any reason to remain on the island after midnight. Comment by aquarooz this is a strange island becase. A tree has cages on it with selotins in them.

A creapy vendor that sells race themed food.lv one fishing nods that give 85 stuff.85 wolfs that roam around.. 2 caves one not on map.spackly stuff all around and when ur dead and look at them there goasts! Places under construction and if u go on a pony run up spam the jump button u get in to get out just jump on the side.the vendor is a undead. So this is a creepy island. Btw im a bad speller and those ppls that know were the goasts are u missed one up by the portal area. Toon aquaroo bye:). Comment by Dernar The Darkmoon Faire no longer stays open after 11:59pm on Saturdays, even if you were already inside before the portal closed.

While the NPCs used to remain active and would even give fresh dailies when reset came (if you stuck around that long), they now despawn shortly after the faire is scheduled to close. The Deathmatch chest will not spawn. Vendors disappear. Even the fishing pools stop spawning. You can remain on the island if you want, but you're going to be all alone. To make matters worse, you can still hear the sounds of the faire after everything despawns. You can hear the carnies laughing, children playing, whistles blowing, and crowds rustling, but no one is there.

And you thought this Island was creepy when it was occupied. Comment by ParadoxFactor An update about being on the island after the Darkmoon Faire ends. As of the last Darkmoon Faire, when the faire 'closes' for the month in addition to the chest no longer spawning, all NPCs on the island despawn. Additionally the fishing pools stop spawning as well.

So no more sticking around the faire for server reset to grab an extra 5 tickets from dailies or farm the pools with no competition. On the flip side this does make the faire even creepier, since while the NPCs have despawned, you can still hear them laughing as you walk around the empty faire grounds. Comment by Guy19 After playing from some time in the evening to 4 AM doing all things Darkmoon, (mostly fishing Shipwreck Debris) I grudgingly went to bed. I woke the next morn at the crack of noon to fish some more nodes, got bored and bobber hopped some Ally:P, then I decided to lose at the Darkmoon Deathmatch since it was coming up. After another fulfilling loss under my belt it was back to fishing. There it was. We both saw it, a lone floating clump of shipwreck debris.

Both of us darted as fast as the flying restriction would allow us to go, but I had the head start. >:D It was with a confident first go that I cast into the node, whilst my foe miscast - befuddled. Though he tried to take what is mine, I triumph this day! HUUUUUZAAAAAH!:D The preceding is based on the true story of how I finally caught a from, fished from a Shipwreck Debris node on the West coast of as an Ally tried to steal it.:). Comment by Enterthevoid Around the isle, you can find fishable 'schools' of Shipwreck Debris.

You can fish once or twice in one school and each time you get a 'Sealed Crate'. I haven't fished a lot of it, but after 10-15 crates, I can conclude that they have a rather high drop chance for Motes of Harmony (I got 6), also you might get some coins (silver probably), random alcohols, Darkmoon Firewater, food/drink either for really low or really high levels, Windwool Cloths, small chance for Ghost Iron Ores, leathers and Potions. It would be interesting to see what a hundred of those would give, since they probably have some rare drops. The information in the crates here is outdated. On an unrelated topic, I highly doubt they will make this isle a big part of the lore (Old God raids and what not). Dead Space 1 Pc Dlc Download For Ps3. It is an event and I don't think they themselves know what the eyes actually are, what the skeletons are, etc.

I think that they were simply going for the mysterious, creepy fairy tale feeling for the island. That's all there is to it. Comment by Dudash I scanned through and surprisingly I didnt see this mentioned yet but you can use flying mounts in the water and I do mean in the water. If you jump out of the water, you'll get dismounted. For some reason, It appears that it will only let you use a few flying mounts that are from Cataclysm. For example, it will let me use my Blazing Drake, Life-Binder's Handmaiden, Twilight Harbinger, and Sandstone Drake but it won't let me use my Volcanic Stone Drake or my Drakes of the West, East, and North Winds. I don't have any of the Firelands mounts so I can't test them.

I know this isn't anything big but I thought it was neat. Comment by Retact Had a weird glitch. When I had last logged out I was on the Island, when I logged back (1 day before the faire) my character was able to run around on the island with no one else there. Almost all of the NPC's were missing, even the barrels for the Whack-a-Gnoll game were gone.

The only NPC's I saw were. Other thing I noticed missing, before getting bored/creeped out, was there was no trash. I submitted a couple screen shots for proof, hopefully Wowhead approves at least one of them. Comment by Locantos When you log out with an Alt/Twink on the Darkmoon island and log in one day before it starts. You will not be ported out than! Normally you are alone expect of the critters but since patch 6.1 the NPC is still avaiable and you can do the race with the strider and also the archivements. You can not switch the mount so far or can get a new one because the mount pads are missing to switch / get the Mount.
